Itajaí possesses a Tourism Pier with a specific infrastructure to receive cruise ships, figuring as one of the main stops for the majority of cruise lines. The differential is the capacity to carry out boarding and disembarkation of passengers for the coast of Brazil and Mercosul.

Porto Belo has been receiving cruise ships for ten years. In 2011, the nee tourism pier was concluded with excellent infrastructure to receive tourists and visitors.
